The moisture trap is an effective solution to reducing the chances of ‘damp’ causing mildew, mould and musty odours in your shipping containers. The moisture trap is a plastic box containing chemicals such as calcium chloride which has a great affinity for water and very readily absorbs atmospheric moisture thus drying the surrounding air. This moisture then collates in the lower half of the trap. Simply place the moisture trap inside your shipping container, a standard moisture trap and crystals will provide moisture protection inside your shipping container for up to 3 months (varies according to use).
